Our Kidstarters knocked it out of the park this Saturday at J.A. Henry Community YMCA! Our kids made 1,600 lunches in under 2 hours for the Y’s Fun and Food Program. We are so proud of all of you!

Hi, my name is Andre. I think this program is a wonderful way to help the community of Chattanooga and teach kids to help others. I also think this program is teaching kids of what it’s like to work in jobs which I love!

You have been in this program since you were 11 years old and you are now 14 years. I have grow and grow into a professional young man. I’m glad you enjoy the opportunities as a way of showing you how real life employment can be. Stick to your goals, you have always told me you want to be an actor! I’m so proud of you!

My name is Michael Sivels. In this program, I was to help pack 1600 lunches for kids.

My name is Latina Sivels. I have two kids in this program. I am so proud to see them enjoying themselves as they help make lunches for the kids across the community. I love how all the kids made good progress in helping one another in order to help others outside the group.

First off, I’d like to thank you for allowing me to introduce your children to these volunteering opportunities in both Kid Starters and Learn & Earn Programs. They have done a great job with; all volunteering and Michael has really opened up to talking.
